
About Beverly Rose
Pianist and Performer
Beverly Rose is a pianist, performer, composer, and music educator based in Bellingham, Washington. She has been performing most of her life and has been teaching music since 2013. She is also the owner and director of Beverly’s Music School, an independent music school in downtown Bellingham. She teaches students of all ages and abilities while overseeing the school’s day-to-day operations and management.
A graduate of Berklee College of Music with a degree in Music Composition, graduating summa cum laude in 2022, Beverly brings together strong classical training, improvisational fluency, and a deep foundation in composition and songwriting. She writes and performs original music, with a particular focus on jazz piano, and has been creating original work throughout her life.
As a performer, Beverly works with a variety of professional bands and ensembles throughout the Bellingham music scene and beyond. She performs with North Sound Soul, a soul cover band that plays festivals, outdoor events, and other live performances throughout the region. She also leads her own band, Phoenix Rose, which performs her original music.
Her recent performance credits include Sugar: A Cabaret at the Mount Baker Theatre, the Band Lottery at the Wild Buffalo House of Music, and featured performances with Cabaret Atelier at Vaudevillingham. Her performance work spans jazz, soul, rock, groove, and musical theatre, with the versatility to move comfortably between genres and collaborative settings.
Through both her performance career and Beverly’s Music School, Beverly is committed to creating music, building community, and making music education accessible to students and musicians of all backgrounds.
